Aleksandra Szamocka

Aleksandra Szamocka serves as a lecturer at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, specializing in piano performance and chamber music with particular emphasis on woodwind and brass instrument collaborations. She maintains an active performance career as a soloist with ensembles including the Lviv Chamber Orchestra 'Akademia' and 'Accademia dell'Arco' Chamber Orchestra.

Her academic foundation includes:

• Piano studies under Prof. Dr. Hab. Jarosław Drzewiecki and Dr. Hab. Michał Szymanowski
• Chamber music training under Dr. Hab. Mariusz Klimsiak

Szamocka's artistic development has been significantly shaped through masterclasses with internationally renowned pedagogues including Kevin Kenner, Dina Yoffe, and Eugene Indjic at prestigious venues such as the International Piano Forum 'Bieszczady bez granic' in Sanok and the Summer Music Academy in Kraków, where she refined her interpretative skills and collaborative techniques.

Her competitive achievements demonstrate exceptional artistry:

• 1st prize at the XIX International Competition in Druskininkai, Lithuania
• 1st prize at the XII International Festival and Competition in Memory of S. Prokofiev in Prague

Complementing her performance career, Szamocka maintains a dedicated pedagogical practice at music schools of the first and second level, where her exceptional accompaniment skills have earned repeated recognition at national music competitions across Poland.
