Aleksandra Sylburska is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Contemporary World History at the Faculty of Philosophy and History, University of Lodz. She specializes in 20th century diplomatic history with a focus on Central European affairs.
Her research interests include:

Dr. Sylburska's scholarly work examines diplomatic relationships within Central Europe during critical historical periods including the interwar years, World War II, and the Cold War era under communist rule. Her research analyzes historical documents to understand political dynamics and international interactions in the region.
She serves as secretary at the Jerzy Giedroyc Center and participates in university governance as a member of the Team for Promotion and Cooperation with the External Environment and the Teaching Committee.
