Aleksandra Budzisz

Aleksandra Budzisz is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Humanistic Basis of Physical Culture at the Jerzy Kukuczka Academy of Physical Education in Katowice. She holds a doctoral degree (Dr.).

Teaching Responsibilities:

• Coordinates courses such as History of Architecture and Art, Philosophy, Bioethics, History of Physical Culture and Olympics, and Motivation in Sport.
• Teaches across undergraduate and graduate programs, including modules in cultural history, ethics, and sport pedagogy.
• Guides seminars and lectures for diverse student groups (e.g., physiotherapy, sports management).

Research Interests:

Her work focuses on the intersection of humanistic disciplines with physical education, including:

• Historical and philosophical foundations of sport and physical culture.
• Ethical dimensions of sport and medical education.
• Cultural analysis of architectural and artistic influences on physical education curricula.

Currently on academic leave until February 2026, Budzisz has consistently coordinated over 50+ courses since 2018, demonstrating expertise in interdisciplinary education.
