Aleks Baharlo

Aleks Baharlo serves as Executive Director of UC Berkeley's Abbey Master of Real Estate Development + Design (MRED+D) program and Lecturer in the College of Environmental Design, where he oversees strategic direction, curriculum planning, and implementation for the MRED+D program.

As Executive Director, Baharlo leads the MRED+D program's vision while teaching courses including Directed Capstone and Real Estate + Design Intensive: Los Angeles. He maintains active industry engagement through the ULI San Francisco Residential Local Product Council and previously held leadership roles with ULI Los Angeles and Building Industry Association of Southern California.

Professionally, Baharlo operates as principal architect of Aleks Baharlo Architecture and President/Managing Partner of a national real estate development platform managing industrial, multifamily, and residential assets. His prior executive role at Larwin involved delivering 3,000+ residential units across California through award-winning master-planned communities and urban infill projects.
