Alejandro Pomarol Clotet

Alejandro Pomarol Clotet is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), affiliated with the Grup de Recerca de Física Teòrica and IFAE. He holds a PhD in Physics from UAB (1991) and a degree in Theoretical Physics from Universitat de Barcelona (1987). His research focuses on particle physics, theoretical physics, and cosmology, with emphasis on the Standard Model, supersymmetry, Higgs physics, and early universe dynamics. He has held CERN Fellowships (1994–2000) and postdoctoral positions at UC Santa Cruz and UPenn.
