Alejandro Pérez Castilla serves as Professor and Vice-Dean of Quality, Dissemination and Knowledge Transfer at the University of Almería's Faculty of Education, where he coordinates the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences. With over 800 teaching hours across undergraduate and master's programs at the Universities of Granada and Almería, he specializes in sports training, human movement biomechanics, and physical education pedagogy.
His educational background features a Doctorate in Biomedicine with International Mention from the University of Granada, complemented by research stays at institutions in Serbia and Chile. He maintains active membership in multiple international research networks.
Research focuses on velocity-based strength training methodologies, biomechanical analysis, and sports performance optimization.
