Alejandro Garcia Aviles is a Professor of Medieval Art at the Universidad de Murcia in Spain, affiliated with the Department of History of Art within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. His research focuses on medieval visual culture, particularly the intersections of art, magic, and religion in medieval Europe. He holds a PhD from the Universidad de Murcia (1995) with a thesis on medieval astrological miniatures.
