Alejandro Frontera Rosselló

Alejandro Frontera Rosselló serves as faculty in the Industrial Engineering and Construction department at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), where he maintains his office in room F116 on the first floor of the Mateu Orfila i Rotger building (Physics section).

His research focuses on structural and construction engineering, evidenced by his active membership in the ConStruct (Ingeniería de la Construcción y las Estructuras) consolidated R&D group at UIB. His scholarly work centers on structural analysis and engineering design principles applicable to building construction and infrastructure development.

Dr. Frontera Rosselló teaches multiple structural engineering courses across various engineering programs at UIB. For the 2025-26 academic year, he instructs Structures for the Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering degree and Structures I for the Agro-Food and Rural Engineering degree. Previously, he has taught Structures II for both the Building Construction degree and Agri-Food and Rural Engineering degree during the 2023-24 academic year.
