Alejandra Recio Saucedo

Alejandra Recio Saucedo is a Senior Research Fellow at the NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC) within the University of Southampton. She joined the institution in 2018 and works in the NETSCC Insight team, which includes researchers, evaluators, analysts, methodologists, and project/programme managers. Her role extends to supporting research and providing expertise across the School of Healthcare Enterprise and Innovation.

Her research focuses on optimizing research practices, from design to dissemination, with emphasis on transparency, reproducibility, and evidence-based policy. Recent publications address medication deprescribing for older adults, EDI in academic-policy engagement, and researcher experiences with funding processes.
