Aleida Lujan Pinelo is an interdisciplinary postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Law, University of Turku. Her work synthesizes epistemologies of the South with new feminist materialism to address complex social problems through legal frameworks.

- MSc in Gender and Women's Studies (GEMMA) from University of Granada and Utrecht University
- Bachelor's in Philosophy from Mexico City
Her research spans feminist legal theory, gender-based violence, and critical pedagogies, with a focus on femicide/feminicide mapping and data activism. She co-founded the Feminizidmap project, documenting femicides in Germany through transdisciplinary methodologies.
Recent publications examine violence against women in Europe, legal reform, and environmental justice. Collaborations include institutions like the Center for Transdisciplinary Gender Studies and ITAM Law School.
Teaching experience includes Feminist Legal Theory at the University of Turku and Qualitative Research Methods at Mesoamerican University. Her methodological toolkit integrates posthumanist theory, decolonial critique, and feminist epistemology.
