Alberto Ramos

Alberto Ramos is a researcher at the Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC) in Valencia, Spain, affiliated with both the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and the University of Valencia. His primary research focuses on theoretical high-energy physics, particularly non-perturbative aspects of quantum field theories, lattice field theory, and quantum chromodynamics (QCD). He has contributed to determining fundamental parameters of the Standard Model with minimal theoretical uncertainties, including the strong coupling constant and quark masses. He is a member of the FLAG (Flavour Lattice Averaging Group), which reviews lattice results for flavor physics. His work spans collaborations on advanced computational methods and precision measurements in particle physics. Additionally, he oversees the LQCD visitors program at IFIC, supporting lattice QCD researchers visiting Valencia.
