Alberto Marzo

Dr. Alberto Marzo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield, serving as Director of the MSc Bioengineering program. His research focuses on computational fluid mechanics, cardiovascular biomechanics, and clinical translation of engineering technologies. He holds a five-year Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Cagliari, Italy, and a PhD from the University of Sheffield. Early in his PhD, he received the David Crighton Fellowship, enabling collaborative research at the University of Cambridge on flow-induced oscillations in elastic vessels.
