Alberto Iozzi is a Full Professor at the Department of Economics and Finance, University of Rome Tor Vergata. He serves as Director of the Department and teaches courses such as Industrial Organization and Regulation of Public Services. His research focuses on applied microeconomics, industrial organization, transport economics, and public policy, with a particular emphasis on procurement mechanisms, regulatory frameworks, and market structure analysis.
He actively contributes to international academic networks through the Centre of Economics and International Studies and collaborates with over 120 universities globally. His work addresses critical issues like congestion externalities in autonomous vehicle systems, pricing strategies in platform economies, and the regulatory challenges in transport and public services.
