Alberto Ferrer Orts is an Associate Professor in the Department of History of Art at the Faculty of Geography and History, University of Valencia. He holds a doctorate from the same institution (2004), where his thesis on the Carthusian monastery of Aracristi earned the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. He has also held academic positions in Chile, including as a full professor at Universidad de Playa Ancha and a visiting professor at Universidad Autónoma de Chile. He is a member of the MUPART research group focused on the memory and perception of artistic remains in the Valencian region during the Medieval and Early Modern Ages.
