Alberto Alessi

Alberto Alessi is a Lecturer at the Institute of Architecture IAR at the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture (HSLU) since 2007 and at the University of Liechtenstein since 2009. He holds a background in architecture from Politecnico di Milano, ETH Zurich, and the Ecole d'architecture Paris-Villemin. His professional roles include architect, curator, and academic, with a focus on architecture mediation, curatorial practice, and architectural history/theory.

Research interests span curatorial projects like Transalpinarchitettura, MittelArchitetture, and exhibitions such as Italy now? and Architetture di Passaggio. He has authored works on architecture theory and monographs on figures like Heinz Tesar. Notable awards include the Joseph Binder Award (2004).
