Dr. Albert Mvula is an academic affiliated with the University of Worcester’s School of Science and the Environment, where he completed his PhD in Geography. Born into a subsistence farming family in Malawi, he overcame significant barriers to education, including early labor demands and limited access to schooling. His research focuses on sustainable farming methods, particularly the impact of conservation agriculture on food security and climate resilience in Malawi. He collaborates closely with the charity Tiyeni to translate research findings into actionable strategies for local communities.
