Albert Duodu is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University and affiliated with the Helsinki Graduate School of Economics (Helsinki GSE). His research focuses on Environmental Economics, International Trade, and Applied Microeconomics, with emphasis on green manufacturing, carbon offshoring, and energy policy impacts.
- Education: PhD in Economics (2024) from Lund University
Research Interests: Dr. Duodu investigates how energy price shocks, carbon offshoring, and import competition affect firm behavior, environmental outcomes, and consumer prices. His work combines advanced econometric methods (shift-share IV, dynamic DiD) with detailed firm-level data from Sweden.
Teaching: He has lectured international economics and trade theory at Aalto University, Lund University, and the University of Ghana.
