Alba Guio Sanchez

Alba Guio Sanchez is a Postdoctoral Researcher at IMDEA Nanoscience, affiliated with the SpinOrbitronics Group. She joined the institution in December 2023 to pursue her PhD research.

Her research focuses on interfacial interactions induced by spin-orbit coupling in heterostructures composed of ferromagnetic, heavy metal, two-dimensional, and ferroelectric materials. The goal is to manipulate magnetic interactions using electric fields, aligning with interdisciplinary advancements in nanotechnology and condensed matter physics.

Her work bridges materials science, quantum physics, and applied engineering, contributing to the development of next-generation spintronic devices.
