Alan Young

Dr Alan Young is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Physics at the University of Strathclyde, Faculty of Science. He is a key member of the SUPA (Scottish Universities Physics Alliance) and actively contributes to experimental plasma physics and high-power electromagnetic systems research. His work spans microwave-plasma interactions, pulse compression, and accelerator instrumentation, particularly within international collaborations such as the Muon Ionization Cooling Experiment (MICE).
