Alan Saleski is an Associate Professor at Loyola University Chicago's Department of Mathematics and Statistics, part of the College of Arts and Sciences. He has held administrative roles including Assistant Dean of Mathematical and Natural Sciences, Graduate Program Director of Computer Science, and Acting Chair of the department. His research focuses on ergodic theory, measure theory, probability theory, and computer algorithms, with publications in journals such as the Pacific Journal of Mathematics and Advances in Mathematics.
