Alan Pilkington

Alan Pilkington is an Associate Professor in Operations Management, Innovation, and Technology at the Department of Information and Operations Management, School of Business and Management, Royal Holloway, University of London. His research focuses on bibliometrics, citation analysis, and innovation processes within disruptive technologies like alternative fuels and nanotechnology. He explores how structural holes and social capital influence innovation success through patent and literature network analysis.
