معرفی
Alain Sarlette is a Lecturer in dynamical systems engineering at Ghent University, Belgium. His research focuses on the control and analysis of multi-agent systems, quantum systems, and nonlinear systems. He has collaborated with institutions such as Ecole des Mines de Paris, Princeton University, and the European Space Agency.
- Education: Engineering degree in applied physics (2005), PhD in dynamical systems modeling and control (2009), both from the University of Liège, Belgium.
His work explores the intersection of nonlinear dynamics and distributed coordination, particularly in contexts like consensus algorithms on nonlinear state spaces (e.g., spheres) and their application to graph coloring problems. He has demonstrated that stable equilibria in such systems are linked to NP-hard complexity, with implications for quantum mechanics via the Bell-Kochen-Specker Theorem.
He is involved in the Automatica research group and has contributed to seminars on nonlinear control theory. His academic collaborations span theoretical and applied domains, including aerospace and quantum computing.
