Alaeddin Burak İrez

Alaeddin Burak İrez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), specializing in composite materials, structural optimization, and advanced manufacturing. His research focuses on developing novel composites for applications in aerospace, automotive, biomedical, and renewable energy sectors. He leads multiple projects funded by BAP (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) and has authored over 44 research outputs, including articles in prestigious journals like Defense Technology, Journal of Power Sources, and Polymers.
