Alaa El-Sharkawy

Dr. Alaa El-Sharkawy serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Robotics, and Industrial Engineering at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) in Michigan, where he develops and teaches graduate courses including High Voltage Battery Design, Thermal Management of Electric Vehicles, and Thermal Protection of Automotive Components. With over 35 years of automotive industry experience, he bridges engineering education with industrial innovation, notably spearheading LTU's electrification program.
