Alaa Alahmadi

Alaa Alahmadi is Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Computing at Newcastle University School of Computing and Honorary Research Fellow at University of Manchester. Her research focuses on explainable AI in medicine, cardiac monitoring for cardiotoxicity, and sudden arrhythmic death syndromes.

She completed MSc and PhD at University of Manchester, developing novel ECG monitoring approaches. Her work has been recognized with MIT Innovators Under 35 Award and multiple other honors.
