Akshitha Sriraman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Michigan (2021) and an M.S. in Embedded Systems from the University of Pennsylvania (2015). Her research focuses on bridging computer architecture and systems software to design efficient, sustainable, and equitable data center systems, emphasizing hardware-software co-design. Her work has been deployed in real hyperscale data centers, influencing Intel’s Alder Lake CPU architectures and Infrastructure Processing Unit designs.
