Akshat Mudgal is a Warwick Zeeman Lecturer and Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the University of Warwick's Mathematics Institute. He holds a PhD from the University of Bristol and Purdue University, supervised by Trevor Wooley, and previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford under Ben Green. His research focuses on additive combinatorics, analytic number theory, combinatorial geometry, and discrete harmonic analysis.

Mudgal has advanced the understanding of additive energies on spheres and difference sets in higher dimensions.
