Akim Gabriel is a full-time non-tenure-track Lecturer of French at Temple University, affiliated with the French, German, Italian, and Slavic Languages Department (FGIS). He serves as Coordinator of the Elementary French sections within the department. A native of Haiti, Gabriel holds a BA in French from SUNY New Paltz and an MA in French from Temple University. His professional roles include Program Director for Temple Summer in France - French Language at the Sorbonne, part of Temple's Global Engagement initiatives.
