Akihiko Terada

Akihiko Terada is an Associate Professor at Tokyo University of Science's Volcano and Earthquake Research Department, where he leads the Kusatsu-Shirane Volcano Observatory. His research bridges volcanology, geophysics, and drone technology, focusing on hydrothermal systems and eruption mechanisms. He has held positions at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Kyoto University, and Hokkaido University, with part-time roles at Kanagawa Prefecture Hot Spring Institute and the University of Tokyo.
