Dr. Akbar Sheikh Akbari is a Reader (equivalent to Professor) in the School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing at Leeds Beckett University, where he has been a faculty member since 2015. His work bridges electronic engineering, artificial intelligence, and real-world applications in food safety and security. He leads cutting-edge research in image processing, hyperspectral imaging, and embedded systems, with strong industry collaborations.
