Aje Carlbom, Ph.D. in social anthropology, is an Assistant Professor at Malmö University's Department of Social Work (Faculty of Health and Society). His research examines ethnic/religious identity, multiculturalism, Islamic activism, and health equity. He teaches courses on gender, globalization, and multiculturalism.
Research Areas: Social anthropology, healthcare discrimination, reproductive rights, and the sociopolitical impact of religious movements in multicultural contexts.
