Ajay Goel, Ph.D., AGAF, is a Professor and Chair at the City of Hope in the Department of Molecular Diagnostics and Experimental Therapeutics, where he also founded the Biotech Innovations program. His work focuses on gastrointestinal cancer detection and treatment, particularly through epigenetics, circulating biomarkers, and precision oncology. With over 300 publications and 30 patents, he has held leadership roles at Baylor Scott & White Research Institute and Curtin University.
