Dr Aisling O’Boyle is a Senior Lecturer at Queen's University Belfast's School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work. She specializes in TESOL, language education, and applied corpus linguistics, focusing on multilingual contexts. Her research explores discourse analysis in educational settings, corpus-based language studies, and English language learning migration dynamics. She has led national and international projects, including guides for digital data-driven learning and refugee language support curricula. Awards include the Queen’s Teaching Award for Sustained Excellence (2014) and a Fredrik and Catherine Eaton Fellowship (2021). She supervises PhD students in areas like English for Academic Purposes and community-based language education.
