Aisling Fitzgerald serves as Lecturer in Stage Management & Theatre Production at Munster Technological University within the School of Pop, Jazz, Trad, Voice and Theatre Studies. She holds formal academic credentials including BAMus, BMus honours degrees, and Higher Diploma in Education (Music and English) from University College Cork, along with an MSc in Personal and Management Coaching specializing in creative professionals.
Her research and professional interests focus on the intersection of performance production, vocational coaching for artists, and creative administration. Fitzgerald brings over sixteen years of practical industry experience to her academic role, having worked extensively with The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden between 2010-2016.
Her professional activities demonstrate strong connections between academic theory and industry practice, particularly in opera and theatre production management. Fitzgerald has received significant recognition through selective leadership programs including the OPERA America Leadership Intensive and Opera Europa Opera Management cohort.
