Aisha Alkinaey

Aisha Alkinaey is a Senior Lecturer at Otis College of Art and Design, specializing in Graphic Design and Illustration. She is also a graphic designer, motionographer, and illustrator based in Los Angeles, working at Western Digital Corp. as a Senior Designer. Her practice spans corporate design, music industry collaborations, and community-driven projects.

• Education: BA in Illustration Design from ArtCenter College of Art and Design (2013-2017), MFA in Graphic Design from California Institute of the Arts (2017-2020).

Aisha's creative work intersects art and technology, with a focus on apparel, short-form media, and motion graphics. She co-founded Kiefy Studio, a multidisciplinary space curating events and workshops centered on Queer SWANA (South West Asian and North African) creatives from the Global South. The studio's physical location in West Adams, Los Angeles, embodies the Millennial Westernized Arab immigrant experience.

Her notable projects include collaborations with Marshmello, Jauz, Discovery Channel, and Western Digital, producing designs for apparel, lyric videos, and digital content. Kiefy Studio’s Nostalgia Zine explores early digital aesthetics, queer culture, and Kuwaiti formative memories through collage and print.
