Aina Lindgren is an Assistant Professor and Clinic Director at Stockholm University's Psychology Clinic, where she also serves as a clinical teacher and course coordinator for the Psychology and Psychotherapy Program. Her work focuses on clinical psychology, mental health interventions, and neurodiversity research (including autism and ADHD).
- Education: Psychology program at Stockholm University (1993-1998), Psychotherapy program at Uppsala University (2002-2004), CBT supervisor training (2006-2007)
- Expertise: Clinical psychology, neurodiversity interventions, virtual reality applications for phobia treatment
Her research group explores mechanisms and neural correlates in mental health, with ongoing projects in:
- Virtual Reality exposure therapy for specific phobias (VRAEbia)
- Evaluation of student-mediated psychotherapy at the Psychology Clinic
She has a clinical background in adult psychiatry and somatic care (1993-2011) and has held leadership roles at Stockholm University's Psychotherapy Clinic (2011-2015) and the Competence Center for Psychotherapy (2015-2017).
