Aidong Zhang

Aidong Zhang is a SUNY Distinguished Professor Emerita in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Virginia. She served as Department Chair from 2009 to 2015. Her primary affiliations include the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Dr. Zhang's research focuses on Bioinformatics, Data Mining, and Multimedia Database Systems, with recent work emphasizing robust AI systems, healthcare applications, and interdisciplinary machine learning techniques.
