معرفی
Ahsan Adeel is an Associate Professor of Cellular AI and Theoretical Neuroscience at the University of Stirling, UK. He leads the TREND project under the UK's $1 billion initiative, developing ultra-efficient AI chips with embedded common sense and ethical frameworks. Previously, he served as Research and Innovation Director for the £4 million EPSRC Transformative Healthcare Technologies Programme Grant. His academic credentials include a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, an MSc in Electronics, and a PhD in Cognitive Computing.
Research Focus: Adeel's work bridges cellular neurobiology with artificial intelligence, investigating how pyramidal neuron operations enable cognitive states like common sense and imagination. His research aims to create AI systems 1000× more efficient while supporting human values, with applications in brain sciences, psychopathology, and combined pharmacological-psychological therapies.
