Dr. Ahmed Zayed Obeidat is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, specializing in neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis (MS). He serves as the Founding Director of the Neuroimmunology & MS Fellowship Program and holds leadership roles in national and international organizations such as the Consortium of MS Centers (CMSC) and the Society for Arab Neuroscientists. His clinical expertise includes MS, neuromyelitis optica (NMO), and autoimmune CNS disorders.
He received his MD from Jordan University of Science and Technology (2008), followed by a PhD in Neuroscience and Physiology from Wright State University (2013). He completed neurology residency and MS fellowship training at the University of Cincinnati (2017–2018). His research focuses on B cell dynamics in MS, clinical outcomes of MS therapies, and health disparities in neuroimmunology.
Dr. Obeidat has been awarded numerous honors, including the 2020 Imagine More Award and the 2021 Most Impactful Team Award. He actively mentors medical students and fellows, contributing to over 60 peer-reviewed publications. His work spans clinical trials, observational studies, and patient-centered research, emphasizing translational and healthcare equity initiatives.
