Dr. Ahmed Ashraf is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba's Price Faculty of Engineering. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, deep learning, and biomedical imaging applications in healthcare, epigenomics, transportation engineering, and power systems. He holds a B.Sc. from UET Lahore (2000), M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University (2006/2010), and postdoctoral training at UPenn (2013) and Toronto Rehab Institute (2018).
