Ahmed Abdulkadir

Dr. Ahmed Abdulkadir is a Senior Researcher at the ZHAW School of Engineering's Machine Perception & Cognition Group. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg and an MSc in Life Sciences from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). His research focuses on machine learning applications in medical image analysis, deep learning for neuroimaging, and industrial AI solutions.

Prior roles include Senior Researcher positions at ZHAW (2023-present), CHUV (2022-2023), and the University of Pennsylvania (2019-2022). He also served as a part-time Expert Data Analyst at the University Hospital of Old Age Psychiatry and Psychotherapy.
