Dr. Ahmad Mojiri is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Mathematics at Rider University. He previously served as Chair of the Mathematics Department at Saint Xavier University in Chicago. His research focuses on algebras, ring theory, and representation theory, with contributions to peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Algebra and Communications in Algebra. He teaches courses in modern algebra and calculus. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Ottawa, Canada, and degrees from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran.
His academic work includes studies on minimal prime ideals, quasi-stratified algebras, and uniserial modules. He actively engages in teaching and departmental leadership while maintaining research interests in abstract algebraic structures. Personal interests include biking, hiking, and traveling with his family.
