Ahmad Aziz

Dr. Ahmad Aziz serves as a Group Leader at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) in Bonn, Germany, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Bonn. His research integrates advanced human brain imaging, brain banking, and swarm learning methodologies to investigate neurodegenerative disorders.

His primary research interests span Neurodegenerative Diseases, Neuroscience, Medical Imaging, Computational Neuroscience, and Machine Learning in Healthcare. The group focuses on decoding pathological mechanisms in conditions like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease through multimodal data analysis and artificial intelligence, aiming to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets.

Dr. Aziz actively mentors doctoral and Master's students, fostering a collaborative research environment that bridges clinical neurology and computational science.
