Ahmad Anjak

Ahmad Anjak is a Physician Scientist at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. With dual certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Nephrology (2018) and Internal Medicine (2001, re-certified 2023), he focuses on kidney disease and cardiovascular interactions.

• Education: MD from University of Aleppo (1996), followed by internships at Aleppo and Cornell, residency at St. Luke's Hospital, and fellowships in Cardiac Imaging and Nephrology at University of Cincinnati.
• Research: Specializes in IgA Nephropathy, Glomerulonephritis, and Cardiac-Kidney Interactions, leading industry-funded clinical trials on novel therapies (sibeprenlimab, atacicept).
