Agâh Sinan ÜNSAR is a Professor in the Business Administration Department of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Trakya University. He has been teaching at the university for over 27 years, having joined as a civil servant in 1992 before becoming a lecturer at Istanbul University in 1998. He completed his PhD in 2003 and was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Trakya University in 2004, promoted to Associate Professor in 2011, and finally to Professor in Management and Organization in 2015. He has held various administrative positions including Head of the Department of Healthcare Management, Head of Management and Organization Department since 2009, and Director of Entrepreneurship Graduate Program from 2012-2024.
Professor ÜNSAR earned his Bachelor's degree from Anadolu University Open Education Faculty Business Administration Department in 1990, following his education at Murat 1st Secondary School and Edirne High School. He completed his military service as a reserve officer and then passed the civil service exam at Trakya University. He earned his Master's degree from Trakya University Institute of Social Sciences in Business Administration in 1997 and his PhD from Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences in Human Resources Management in 2003.
His research focuses on leadership, organizational behavior, human resources management, and motivation. Professor ÜNSAR has published extensively in these fields, with an H-index of 17. His work explores topics such as organizational learning, charismatic leadership, workplace communication, emotional intelligence, organizational creativity, and workplace relationships. He has contributed significantly to understanding how leadership styles affect organizational silence, burnout, and employee commitment. His research often examines these phenomena in Turkish contexts, particularly in the banking and service sectors.
Professor ÜNSAR has supervised numerous PhD and master's theses, mentoring the next generation of business scholars. His students have conducted research on diverse topics including organizational silence, emotional labor, psychological capital, intellectual capital, and career management. His supervision has helped establish master's and doctoral programs in Management and Organization science.

Professor ÜNSAR has served as thesis advisor to many students during their master's and doctoral education and continues to advise students. He has contributed to the establishment of master's and doctoral programs in the field of Management and Organization science. Beyond academia, he has conducted professional development seminars for various organizations including Edirne Tax Office, Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Kırklareli Provincial Police Department, focusing on motivation, stress management, and leadership topics.
