Dr. Agustin Diz is a Lecturer in Anthropology of Development at the University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on indigenous populations in Latin America, particularly the Guaraní in Argentina's Gran Chaco region, exploring intersections of political economy, extractive industries, and welfare policies. He has also worked with coal mining communities in Spain and community energy organizations in Scotland.
