Specializing in 20th-21st century Francophone literary and cultural production, her research integrates Trauma Studies, Translation Studies, and Foreign Language Pedagogy. Current projects examine text-image dynamics in graphic novels, disability representation, and trauma narratives within postcolonial contexts, alongside innovative virtual civic engagement initiatives focused on human rights advocacy.
Her scholarly output reveals a consistent interdisciplinary trajectory connecting literary analysis with social justice applications, particularly through graphic narrative studies and digital translation projects addressing gender equity and human rights documentation.
She actively mentors students in translating Congolese human rights articles archived at the Library of Congress, demonstrating applied pedagogy that bridges academic work with real-world advocacy through digital media platforms.
