Dr. Agnieszka Graham is a Lecturer in Applied Developmental Psychology at Queen's University Belfast's School of Psychology. She holds a PhD from the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit at the University of Cambridge (2016) and has postdoctoral experience at Queen's University Belfast and the University of Edinburgh (2016–2018). Her research focuses on executive functions, mind wandering in children, and emotional granularity, with a translational emphasis on classroom learning and practitioner insights. She leads the 'Mind Wandering and Metacognition in Children' research project (2022–present).
- PhD supervision: Specializes in developmental/cognitive psychology applied to education.
- Awards: MRC Doctoral Fellowship (2011), STAR Scheme Performance Awards (2021, 2022).
Her teaching includes cognitive developmental psychology and module convenor for PSY7107 'Atypical Development in an Educational Context'. Research interests include bridging theory/practice through collaborations with educators. Awards also include the NINE Doctoral Training Programme Studentship (2021 as co-supervisor).
