معرفی
Agnes Nagy is a Researcher at the University of Borås, affiliated with the Faculty of Textiles, Engineering and Business and the Department of Resource Recovery and Building Technology. She specializes in sustainable construction materials, focusing on recycled aggregates and their mechanical properties. Her work addresses climate-reduced concrete solutions and the integration of recycled materials into infrastructure projects. She is currently supervising doctoral students Habib Loubani (as Principal Supervisor) and Johan Pyykko/Alexander Oliva Rivera (as Assistant Supervisor). Her research is funded by the Swedish Research Council Formas through the project FR-2021/0004.
- Research Focus: Fracture mechanics of concrete, eco-concrete development, mechanical preprocessing of construction waste
- Key Contributions: Investigated recycled aggregates' impact on concrete durability and energy efficiency
Her recent publication in Materials (2023) highlights innovations in using crushed concrete aggregates and granulated blast furnace slag, demonstrating their potential to enhance sustainable construction practices.
