معرفی
Dr. Agnes Landemard is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Ophthalmology, University College London, working in the laboratory of Prof. Matteo Carandini and Prof. Kenneth Harris since 2022. She holds a PhD from École Normale Supérieure, Paris, where she conducted research on large-scale representations of natural sounds in ferret auditory cortex under the supervision of Prof. Shihab Shamma and Dr. Yves Boubenec.
Her research focuses on how arousal and behavioral state modulate brainwide activity, using functional Ultrasound imaging (fUSI) to measure changes in blood flow in depth in the brain of awake, behaving mice. Her work bridges neuroimaging techniques with behavioral neuroscience to understand neural population dynamics.
Dr. Landemard's recent publications demonstrate expertise in both auditory processing and brainwide hemodynamic responses, with a particular emphasis on how natural sounds are encoded in auditory cortex and how blood volume fluctuations reflect opposing neural populations. Her research combines experimental neuroscience with advanced imaging techniques to address fundamental questions about brain function.
She is fluent in both French and English, enabling her to collaborate across international research communities. Her work has accumulated 34 total citations with 12 recent citations, indicating growing impact in the field of systems neuroscience and neuroimaging.
